So much to be learned from Guest Speaker - Dennis W. Herman.
A graduate of Western Carolina University, Dennis is currently retired. Before retiring he was an environmental program consultant in the Biological Surveys Group for the N.C. Department of Transportation where he conducted surveys for endangered and threatened plant and animal species in the construction corridors for highway and bridge projects. He previously worked as the coordinator of living collections at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences from 1996 to 2004. From 1972 to 1996, he was employed as a senior keeper and the assistant curator of herpetology at the Atlanta Zoo
Program is free and open to the community.
